MEGASTRUCTURE is inspired by enormous architecture, such as the Merdeka 118 in Kuala Lumpur, the Vessel, the Oculus, and the One World Trade Center in New York. Each of these massive works of art are truly breathtaking and awe-inspiring.

The word Crystalis is a combination of “chrysalis” and “crystal”. When combining these two words, I am reminded of Quartz Mountain, one of my favorite childhood haunts. “Chrysalis” refers to transition and transformation.
Crystals form in nature when molecules that are alike get close to each other and stick together. I like to attribute each of my own transformations throughout life to the people around me and the environments I have been in.
